I used to do this type of "derivation" using high contrast Kodak B&W litho film (made for the printing industry). Took hours. This was much faster and easier. This type of photo isn't to everyone's liking, but the thing to remember is that you do photography for yourself (unless of course you are photographing someone's wedding, etc.)If you'd like to see some more of these, take a look at my album at PhotoOnWeb.
